Exploring the isle of Naxos in Greece is a glorious opportunity of a lifetime.
I’ve been to Mykonos, Santorini, Athens, Crete, Corfu, Olympia and Paros but I would have to concede that the rumors about Naxos are true — it is the most notoriously underrated island in the Aegean Sea.
It’s been almost a week since I’ve been to Naxos and we’ve been touring all the lovely little villages to our heart’s content. I can’t get enough of this mountainous isle as it has the most illustrious views that one can hope for on a Greek Island vacation.
An area in Naxos that is quite distinguished for attracting a lot of attention is the brilliant Agios Prokopios Beach. Noted for its crystal clear waters and having one of the softest, most splendid stretch of sand in the Greek Isles, I was fortunate to have stayed at an amiable hotel right on the beach called Liana Hotel & Spa.
If stunning sea views are a requirement on your next holiday at the Mediterranean, Liana Hotel & Spa might just be your cup of tea. It features a very traditional Cycladic architecture with floral blooms framing its quaint terraces. A landscaped garden has been meticulously curated just steps away from the shore, offering a panoramic prospect of the entire Agios Prokopios Beach in Naxos, Greece.
Liana Hotel & Spa is truly fantastic for families and those who love extended stays. Their suites feature balcony vistas right at the beachfront. It has a pleasant kitchenette nook and most have an extra bed that could fit a couple more in their rooms. Waking up right on the beach is a winning element of an impeccable holiday and Liana Hotel & Spa would certainly be triumphant in providing this for you.
As I woke up, a light Greek brunch was spread across the hotel’s beachfront patio. Superb coffee with a dainty bowl of Greek yogurt and Naxian honey is always accomplished here at Liana Hotel & Spa. We spent hours just sitting by the hotel’s front yard, amidst cultivated plants and flowers enclosing our little garden oasis with the view of the ocean. A true hothouse for those who want to revel by the sea and enjoy a graceful patch of perfect sand right by the Mediterranean.
If you haven’t been to Greece, I encourage you to conjure a holiday getaway and consider Naxos. A stay at Liana Hotel & Spa would be an inspirational move to re-balance yourself… all while being close to nature. With the sea glittering day and night, this beaming hotel would make for a sumptuous and splashy escape for those needing an urban break. Bring the kids with you as Liana Hotel & Spa would be just the place for a congenial family fête by the waterfront.
