My husband and I woke up bright and early to enjoy the most magical breakfast scenario one can possibly encounter here in the Canaries. Truly, the Royal Garden Villas know how to put on a show and do it right. We were here close to yearly festivities and we experienced just how the staffs here go above and beyond to make their guests feel the enchanting spirit of the holidays. We were greeted with sparkling little mythical lights that wrapped around the large breakfast nook bewitching us so early in the morning. Delightful angel and tree décor paraded every buffet plate inviting us to an extraordinary celebration. When the server poured fresh orange juice from Valencia (our favorite) and a cup of cappuccino on our table, we knew that we chose the right hotel on our adventure in Tenerife.
As we continued our tour around the hotel grounds enamored by the flourishing and exuberant surroundings, we couldn’t help but feel impressed by the management of the Royal Garden Villas. We encountered a two-bedroom villa that was much larger than our suite and learned that a very exclusive wedding was even allowed to be held at its huge patio. Overlooking the mountains and the beach, I couldn’t help but ponder upon how romantic the setting would have been during that event. The architecture and interior design of the Royal Garden Villas have a perfect indoor-outdoor flow movement where every nook seems to be the most ideal place for relaxation. An intimate family gathering would even further elevate that.
Because the prevailing atmosphere in the Canaries was one of leisure and recreation, my husband and I enjoyed conversing in our private veranda while relishing in the ocean breeze and savoring in our own private solar-heated pool. It’s quite rare to see the mountains and the beach converge in one glorious landscape but that’s exactly the allure of the Canary Islands and this hotel. Another preferred hangout would be the spa area where we enjoyed the whirlpools, hydro-massages, a sizable Jacuzzi and indoor pool. We always visit the steam room and sauna in hotels because it allows our skin to hydrate, our bodies to loosen up and our minds to unwind. I believe that the Royal Garden Villas did a fantastic job with the way the spa area looks. We allowed ourselves to settle back, ease off and feel at home in true comfortable luxury.
Staying at the Royal Garden Villas while traveling around Tenerife is nothing short of splendid. Around the neighborhood are beautiful golf courses – a true golfer’s paradise. It is also quite near to vibrant Playa Del Duque in Adeje where one can choose from a medley restaurants specializing in local Canarian or Spanish cuisines and, of course, freshly caught seafood. Its exotic surroundings are its true appeal. Enriched by the magnificent mountains and hills to the north and north-east, emerald golf courses and vivid blooms across the way, and the most exquisite view of the Atlantic to the west and south, it would be hard to beat what this hotel offers to its guests.
In pursuit of that perfect holiday in Tenerife, the highest of recommendation is certainly commended to the Royal Garden Villas. A true oasis of tranquility, its Asiatic motif is a superb choice in which it is highlighted through the details of fragrant flowers emanating from every corner.
Look no further if you’re in search of that breathtaking scenery. Jet skiing, private boat excursions, whale and dolphin watching as well as parasailing are all within just a short drive away. The staff even provides a short itinerary of the top sites around the island as part of the check-in package. The El Teide National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, alone is worth the trip to Tenerife. To elevate your stay, the Royal Garden Villas is most certainly the foolproof choice.
