I recently took part in a wonderful Gold Turkish Delight 9 Carat Massage on behalf of Spa Experience at Bethnal Green thermal spa.
I was in for a golden spa treatment which included a full body scrub, a full body 9 carat gold enveloping massage and relaxing facial. After, I was invited to spend two hours in tranquility at their thermal spa.
Upon arrival, I was greeted and shown to the massage room by the loveliest therapist. It was fascinating to discover that the Gold Turkish Delight Massage was inspired by Le Sultane de Saba skin care programme, an anti-aging gold illuminating skin regime based in Paris.
This particular massage programme uses an age-old, historic way of wellness that features a wide range of body scrubs, facials and massages originating from the East. As the massage started and a delicate unwinding music filled the room, I found myself lying deeply into the bed, in a calming position, and feeling exquisite as the therapist slowly scrubbed my skin leaving it ultra-smooth and silky.
The entire process was incredibly sultry. Her hands luxuriously glided on the skin in thorough exfoliation. Inspired by the mystical Orient, the ritual seems to evoke and encouraged me to dream about traveling to exotic and far-off destinations. I had visions of simmering down, watching the sunset, in a paradise-like land. It felt regal as fluid gold started enveloping my body.
After 40 minutes, the therapist instructed me to have a full shower before the next process of the massage is applied. I love how the massage & full body scrub seems to have provided a lifting effect. My entire body started rejuvenating. My skin now feels succulent. This precious ritual seemingly does feel like there’s “liquid gold” being massaged all over my body. I felt smooth and illuminated. I felt a new cascade of resurgence.
The gentle buffing action certainly gave silky results to my now glowing skin. I couldn’t help but feel more ready than ever to attend all the holiday events and parties to showcase my reawakened and lit up golden skin to family and friends.
