If you’re like me, you are looking at your calendar and planning ahead so you can take advantage of the fresh air, warmer weather, lengthy days and extra-long sunsets.

My husband and I recently checked off some items on our spring bucket list and it inspired me to share it with you all to help you, perhaps, plan your European spring travels next year. Here are some extraordinary places that we found to be extra beautiful in springtime (blog post to follow on each one!):
Luzern & the Swiss Alps
Luzern is a storybook-looking Swiss town perched nearby snowcapped mountains on Lake Luzern. It is a famous gateway to the Alps. Don’t miss out on a stroll through Chapel Bridge – a covered wooden footbridge spanning diagonally across the Reuss River – before hitting the open-air cable cars that ride up to some of the most gorgeous and highest points of Europe. This is a wonderful time to go as you can be surrounded by snowcapped mountains while wearing light clothing! Luzern, Switzerland
Keukenhof Gardens
A beautiful 19th-century park that pride itself to be the most beautiful spring garden in the world, showcasing a variety of multicolored Dutch spring flowers and different breeds of Holland Tulips. It is only accessible and open from March to May. Lisse, The Netherlands
Zaanse Schans
Zaanse Schans is a Windmill Village near Amsterdam in the Netherlands that features a collection of unspoiled windmills and traditional Dutch homes. Zaandam, The Netherlands
Tivoli Gardens
Known to have been the park that inspired Walt to build Disneyland, the Tivoli Gardens opened on 1843 and is the second-oldest amusement park in the world. It highlights a beautiful array of cherry blossoms in springtime. Copenhagen, Denmark
Holmenkollen Ski Jump Tower
Perched on a hill, the Holmenkollen is considered to be the most important icon of more than a century’s global skiing competitions. This historic Norwegian landmark left us breathless with legendary views of snow-capped mountains outlining lush landscapes, crystal blue seascapes and the most majestic scenes of the Oslo Fjords. Oslo, Norway
What a spectacle it is to witness spring in its full and bountiful glory. All praises be to God who have designed the most superb representation of the allure and beauty of Mother Nature. Look out for perfect panoramic views coming up next!
