I’m going to take a quick break from sharing travel entries featuring Italy to free up some time to catch up on highlighting other favorite cities that my husband and I traveled to early this year.
My undying love for Italy is surely evident in my recent articles more than ever. However, if there were one particular destination that we enjoyed, I’d have to say that our journey to Budapest was also quite spectacular.

The splendor of Budapest’s marvelous architecture was definitely one of the main draws for me when we first laid eyes on the city. In this place, I fell in love with the exquisiteness of the neo-renaissance style of architecture. I personally adored this city more than Paris and somehow even felt more romanticized to the magnificence of the Danube than the Seine.
Truthfully, I still have many more experiences to share of Hungary and I promise I will do my best to be steadfast in writing all my travel articles. For now, here’s a striking moment I wanted to share from our time in Budapest’s City Park that houses Vajdahunyad Castle, a replica of a Transylvanian Castle built to feature copies of numerous landmark buildings from distinctive parts of the Kingdom of Hungary in an array of Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque architectural styles.
