Budapest has become one of my best-loved and cherished cities in the world.
Known as the Paris of the east, I can in an honest manner say that I feel even more charmed here in Budapest than in any other place. Perhaps it’s the romance of the Danube or the paradigmatic view of the Parliament at dusk, I know for sure that I am not the only one who has fallen deeply and madly in love with this city.
One of the most captivating characteristics I adore about Budapest is its strong historical musical influence. As if it wasn’t a dream come true enough that I was walking the footsteps of great Hungarian composers such as Franz Liszt, I was also lucky to be able to tour and experience the emblematic Hungarian State Opera on this trip. Fortuitously, I likewise got to spend this extraordinary holiday at a unique, quaint and musical-themed luxury hotel just newly launched early this year at the center of the city – the Aria Hotel Budapest.
Part of The Library Hotel Collection, the Aria Hotel Budapest, I feel, is poised to be one of the finest and most outstanding hotels in the city. Located at an alluring square just beside the awe-inspiring St. Stephen’s Basilica, it is not only convenient – it is also impeccably elegant.
Coming from Los Angeles and being so close to Hollywood, music and pop culture has always played such a big role in my life. I found it enjoyable seeing iconic faces of the entertainment industry like Marilyn Monroe and Michael Jackson instilled so beautifully as part of the hotel’s interiors. One of a kind materials and fabrics decked the hotel’s space and furniture in sophisticated style. Striking lighting and eye-catching fixtures gave the Aria Hotel Budapest an added element of animation. Best of all, the spa featured an indoor pool and Jacuzzi embellished in pink and purple lighting. I’ve never seen a pool designed in such a vanguard way. This place is truly a dream fantasy place come true.
From Budapest’s fanciful streets, I saw the whimsical characteristic of the Aria Hotel right away through its bold white-and-black piano-key patterned floor that led me from the front door into the fantastic lobby. The hotel’s entire staff is beyond helpful, friendly and incredibly professional. From the entrance to the succeeding rooms, I truly felt the effort, passion and talent of the visionaries behind the Aria Hotel Budapest. I love how the architects and the design team fused in the idea of classic luxury to a modern, present-day, avant-garde, fashionable hotel.
Hip and stylish, the Aria Hotel Budapest is stunning as it is dazzling. As an array of spring flowers and orchids bedecked and decorated every corner of this fascinating space, I couldn’t help but feel inspired and so relaxed here as the hotel continues to hit the right note in every aspect!
