On the weekend, I experienced my first time camping! Well, we went to Campland on the shores of Mission Bay in San Diego and although we all slept in a tent (some in an RV), the grounds had a pool, market, café, boat & jet ski rentals and even wifi! So, yes. I guess you can say I am taking “baby steps” when taking on the great outdoors.
So it being my first time…I wasn’t sure what to wear. I decided to put on yellow skinny jeans and a floral blouse. I chose that combination because it was casual and breezy.

Most of us are hesitant at first to wear colored jeans as we tend to go for classic rather than trendy clothing. However, these jeans were very comfortable and affordable (only $19.99 at H&M) and I love the pop of color! I can see how, when paired with the right pieces, these jeans can look good year-round.
I’ve recently done my spring cleaning and donated a lot of my clothes to Goodwill. For those who are not familiar with Goodwill, they are a non-profit organization in Southern California that helps people with disabilities or other disadvantages by providing education, training and job opportunities to assist them in becoming more self-sufficient and productive.
It’s always important to give back to the community, even with something as simple as donating. Charity is a wonderful virtue and the practice of it not only benefits others, but also ourselves.
