Though Spring hasn’t sprung, the weather suggested otherwise.

I  couldn’t resist breaking out my new floaty, Safari-inspired, wide-legged pants at the Arboretum this weekend.  The tribal element in feminine shapes makes it completely urban.  The Arboretum is 127 acres so there’s a lot of space to cover.  There’s an orchid house, an African and Australian Gardens section, the Asia gardens, a waterfall, an herb garden area, and the Queen Anne cottage and a separate Coach Barn.  This is not all the things to see, so plan on taking your time, plan on walking a lot, or come back often.

To accent my outfit, I donned my trusty Louis Vuitton Damier Ribera handbag, comfortable Tory Burch “Sally 2” Peeptoe Logo Wedges, 14k yellow gold butterfly ring with yellow citrine, and a classic Cartier watch for the day. I think all women should invest in classic and authentic jewelry as the trendy and less expensive designs may not last long in terms of fashion and durability.  Earthy colors matched with bright yellow did the trick for me on a sunny Winter day.
