Have you ever been faced with the challenge of what to wear to a formal event while satisfying the conservative look?

I was invited to attend a Bat Mitzvah which took place in a synagogue. Immediately after is a lunch reception at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills.  I wanted to wear something conservative yet captivating and festive.  I finally decided on a Forever 21 light olive scoop neck, long sleeve lace mini dress that features a floral lace pattern accented by a lining on the bodice.  The sleeves were three-quarter delicate sheer lace for demure allure.  Grace and elegance were encapsulated and the best part was — these were all under $20.  Great deals are always worth it especially when satisfying the need of the scene.

Beautiful white South Sea Pearl necklace and bracelet finished off my look.  I added a longer freshwater sister pearl necklace for a stronger finish with 14k yellow gold classic bangles and a Bvlgari BZERO.1 ring.

The Bat Mitzvah was beautiful and rich with tradition.  To witness my little friend’s proclamation of faith at a young age of 12 was amazing.  I believe that having faith and instilling continuous faith in young people is something to be proud of.  I can relate as I am part of a Christian community and the amount of joy and peace that I have received from my own growth in faith is something I cherish and love to share.
